Wallingford Partnership Ltd, has entered into a contract with the Northamptonshire based Services delivery company T.James Telecoms to install a public WiFi system as part of an initiative to regenerate and enhance Wallingford town centre for residents and its many visitors.

T.James Telecoms will provide a complete turnkey solution including system design, planning, installation and commissioning of software and hardware. The network will be operated by T.James Telecoms in conjunction with The Wallingford Partnership and the Town Council.

Initially the network will provide WiFi coverage in strategic locations in the town centre but already further phases are being planned for wider coverage in the local area to meet the needs of business and residents. It is hoped to incorporate other commercial opportunities into the scheme also to deliver a modern, cost-effective and sustainable public network
